Caltrain has begun 30-day DBE goal notice period

The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (PCJPB), which owns and operates the Caltrain service, has recently announced the beginning of a public comment period on its proposed DBE participation goal for the fiscal years 2020-2022. The public comment period lasts for 30 days and began on June 10th, 2019.

The goal for DBE participation in contracts let by Caltrain during the specified period is 13.5%. Information relevant to the goal is available for inspection during the 30-day period starting June 10th, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) Office of Civil Rights, located at 1250 San Carlos Avenue, San Carlos, CA 94560. Comments may also be mailed to SamTrans at the above address. The DBE Officer can be contacted by phone at 650-508-7939.
