Caltrain has begun 30-day DBE goal notice period

The Peninsula Corridor Joint Powers Board (PCJPB), which owns and operates the Caltrain service, has recently announced the beginning of a public comment period on its proposed DBE participation goal for the fiscal years 2020-2022. The public comment period lasts for 30 days and began on June 10th, 2019.

The goal for DBE participation in contracts let by Caltrain during the specified period is 13.5%. Information relevant to the goal is available for inspection during the 30-day period starting June 10th, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at the San Mateo County Transit District (SamTrans) Office of Civil Rights, located at 1250 San Carlos Avenue, San Carlos, CA 94560.
