Port of Los Angeles increases maximum allowable revenue for VSBE designation

CA News - Published Jan 07, 2019

Effective January 1st, the maximum allowable gross annual revenue (GAR) for a business to be designated a very small business enterprise (VSBE) by the Port of Los Angeles will be increased to $5 million. This follows the passage of a state bill, Senate Bill 605. That bill raised the maximum allowable GAR for a microbusiness (MB) as designated by the state of California to $5 million. As the Port's VSBE designation is tied to the parameters of the state MB designation, it has increased in tandem with the MB designation.
