Balfour Beatty to hold MWBE workshop, pre-bid for Raleigh-Durham Airport Apron Project

Balfour Beatty, which has been selected as Construction Manager at Risk for the West RON Apron Rehabilitation for the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, is holding a Pre-Bid Conference, MWBE Workshop, and Site Tour on October 30th, 2018. The overall project is receiving early bidding packages on November 15th, 2018, which will be submitted by prequalified bidders to Balfour Beatty. There is a 10% minority-owned business (MBE) goal and a 5% woman-owned business (WBE) goal on the project.

The MWBE Workshop component of the Pre-Bid Conference is strongly encouraged for all interested subcontractors, as participation in the meeting will be counted towards the good-faith effort component of the project goal. The location of the Pre-Bid Conference and other components of the meeting will be: 1000 Trade Drive, RDU Airport, NC 27623 in Room 100. The meeting begins at 1:30 PM.
