Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Certification Overview

The City of Austin's Small & Minority Business Resources department (SMBR) is hosting a workshop at the Entrepreneur Center of Austin on the topic of "Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Certification Overview". The event will run down various available certifications including MBE/WBE, DBE and ACDBE, SBE, and HUB, so that businesses can better understand which certifications may apply to them, the process of applying for such certification, and the benefits of certification when bidding on government contracts (at the city, state, and federal levels).
