Massachusetts VBE Program

The program summary on this page was last updated on 06/06/2018. If any of the information or links are out-of-date, please contact us.

The State of Massachusetts established a Veteran-Owned Business Enterprise (VBE) Program to encourage more service-disabled veterans to compete for state contracts. This program is run through the Supplier Diversity Office of the Operational Services Division for Massachusetts.

Does this local/state program offer reciprocal certifications with other local/state programs? Out-of-state applicants must have attained certification in their home state, view a webcast, and provide certain materials and applications to SDO.

Does this certification expire? Certification lasts three years. Certified firms will be provided with a letter before expiry letting them know which materials must be submitted in order to be recertified. A substantive review is also part of the process.
