The City of Baltimore encourages the use of minority and women businesses (MBE/WBE) on city contracting through the efforts of its Minority & Women's Business Opportunity Office (MWBOO). The office certifies MBE/WBE firms, manages a directory of certified firms, and sets MBE/WBE participation goals on every city contract.

Does this certification expire? A no-change affadavit must be submitted on a regular basis in order to retain certification.
