The program summary on this page was last updated on 12/12/2023. If any of the information or links are out-of-date, please contact us.

Palm Beach County, through its Office of Equal Business Opportunity (OEBO), operates a certification program for small, minority-owned, and woman-owned business enterprises (S/M/WBEs). There is a minimum mandatory goal of 20 percent SBE participation for all county contracts. In addition, there is an Affirmative Procurement Initiative plan that applies to S/M/WBEs, and a system of points and preferences for S/M/WBEs that are bidding as primes or responding as primes to RFPs.

Does this certification expire? The certifications are offered for a period of three years.

How do I get re-certified? A recertification affidavit is provided by the county.
