General work description: Construction on Highway 20 in Mendocino County in and near Willits - Replace AC Surfacing, Cold Plane AC Pavement and RHMA (gap graded).

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DVBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Asphalt Supplier; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Traffic Flaggers; Pilot Car; Reset, Adjust Roadway Items; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Penetration Treatment & Prime Coat (Tack Coat); Seal Coat; Asphalt Concrete (Place); Clean & Seal Pavement Joints - Rout & Seal Cracks; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Remove Striping & Marking; Pavement Marking; Maintain TMS Elements; Pavement Profiling; Materials Testing Service; Traffic Management Operations; Lead Compliance; SWPPP Planning; Bottom Dump Trucking; Super 10 Dump Truck; Street Sweeping Truck; Trucker Broker; Trucker.

The DVBE Contract goal is 3 percent. The estimated cost of the project is $2,180,000.00. If you have any questions, please contact Bret McPhaul at 707.467.4112 or email at bret.mcphaul@gcinc.com. Plans and specifications are available at Caltrans http://ppmoe.dot.ca.gov/des/oe/weekly-ads/oe-project.php?q=01-0K9704. You'll need a login and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access plans.

Requirements:
No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
