Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified SBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Asphalt Supplier; Concrete & Cement Supplier; Reinforcing Bar Section; Fencing Supplier; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Remove Concrete; Develop Water Supply; Temp Erosion Control; Aggregate Base; Concrete Pumping; Asphalt Concrete (Place); AC Dike And Misc. Paving; Recycle, Reclaim Asphalt Concrete; Portland Cement & Concrete Pavement; Groove & Grind Pavement; Reinforcing Steel; Concrete Curb & Sidewalk-Misc.; Saw Cutting; Fencing; Temporary Fencing; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking; Pavement Marking; Materials Testing Service; Surveyor; Bottom Dump Trucking; Transfer Dump Truck; Super 10 Dump Truck; Trucker Broker; Trucker; Construction Equipment Rental; Heavy Equipment Rental; Construction Staking (Survey); Laboratory Testing And Analysis.

No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
