Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Asphalt Supplier; Concrete & Cement Supplier; Pipe Supplier; Drainage Systems Supplier; Storm Water Systems Supplier; Pavement Markers Supplier; Electrical & Signals Supplier; Construction Staking; Traffic Control Supplier; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Traffic Flaggers; Pilot Car; Remove Concrete; Clearing & Grubbing; Grading; Aggregate Base; Concrete Pumping; Roadside Sign; Alternative Pipe Culvert; Crash Cushion; Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking; Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking; Remove Striping & Marking; Pavement Marking; Signal & Lighting; Signals (Installation Of Signals); Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights); Environmental Engineer; Surveyor; Environmental-Water Quality; Traffic Mgmt Operations; Lead Compliance; SWPPP Planning; Transfer Dump Truck; Super 10 Dump Truck; Street Sweeping Truck; Land Surveying; Constr. The DBE Contract goal is 19 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH-P029(151)E. The estimated cost of the project is $1,720,000.00.

No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
