We are looking for qualified consulting engineers to team with us and be part of our proposal for the "On-Call Architectural/Engineering and Support Services for General Projects" RFP issued by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works. We are seeking responses from licensed Structural, Geotechnical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing Engineers as well as services that include landscape architecture, Cost Estimating, Environmental and Specifications Writing firms that are Certified by the Los Angeles County's Community Business Enterprise Program and other public agencies. Consulting engineers/firms shall be required to meet the County's Indemnification & Insurance requirements, obtaining coverage from insurance companies acceptable to the County who have a current A.M. Best rating of not less than A:VII. A Best rating of A:VII indicates that the company evidences strong financial strength and ability to meet their ongoing financial obligations to policyholders. Insurance Coverage shall consist of the following:
A.Commercial General Liability insurance with limits of not less than General Aggregate: $2 million, Products/Completed Operations Aggregate: $1 million, Personal and Advertising Injury: $1 million, Each Occurrence: $1 million
B.Automobile Liability insurance with limits of not less than $1 million for bodily injury and property damage, in combined or equivalent split limits, for each single accident.
C.Workers Compensation and Employers' Liability insurance with limits of not less than $1 million per accident.
D.Professional Liability/Errors and Omissions with limits of not less than $1 million per claim and $2 million aggregate.
