SITE OF WORK: The site of the work is located at the Huston Creek WWTP located at 24516 Lake Drive, Crestline, California 92325.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work generally includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all products, labor, equipment, material, transportation, and incidental services to construct the following:
1. Replacement of thickened sludge transfer pumps in existing dewatering building
2. New sludge holding tank and new dewatering building housing new thickened sludge feed pumps, screw presses, screw conveyors, chemical feed systems, odor control system, and appurtenant mechanical and electrical and controls improvements
3. New primary clarifier structure and appurtenant mechanical and electrical and controls improvements
4. New emergency generator
5. Replacement of trickling filter recirculation pumps and appurtenant mechanical and electrical an controls improvements
6. Associated site improvements, including grading, retaining walls, drainage, paving, and fencing

Funding for this Huston Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant Dewatering Building and Primary Clarifier Project has been provided in full or in part by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund through an agreement with the State Water Resources Control Board. California's Clean Water State Revolving Fund is capitalized through a variety of funding sources, including grants from the United States Environmental Protection Agency and state bond proceeds.

Sealed Bids will be received only at Crestline Sanitation District (Owner), 24516 Lake Drive (P.O. Box 3395), Crestline, California, 92325-3395, Telephone (909) 338-1751 until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021, for the construction of the Work entitled: HUSTON CREEK WWTP PRIMARY CLARIFIER AND DEWATERING BUILDING IMPROVEMENTS

Crestline Sanitation District has not established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal for this project. However, the successful bidder on this work must demonstrate compliance with the CWSRF DBE requirements to be deemed a responsible bidder. The requirements for bidders and contractors covered by this policy are explained in the Contract Documents section 00810 Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Contract Requirements (included in Addendum 2).

SECURING BID DOCUMENTS. Bidders may download the bid documents from www.ciplist.com. All prospective bidders must arrange to collect the bidding documents at their own cost. The Owner will not mail copies of plans and specifications to any potential Bidder. No time extensions or other consideration will be given for non-receipt of bidding documents by any prospective bidder.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the place and time stated above. Bidders are invited to be present. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday September 16, 2021 and all bidders must attend.
