OVERALL PROJECT SCOPE: The Project scope is to perform demolition of 16 aerial segments (approximately 5,400 linear feet) of existing 48-inch welded steel pipe and 16 aerial segments (approximately 3,700 linear feet) of abandoned 30" cast iron pipe. Furnish and install approximately 5,400 linear feet of 48 ich welded steel pipe from the Eastside Wastewater Treatment Plant and other associated work.
OVERALL CONTRACT TIME: 548 Calendar days
Anticipated project start between Late Sept to Oct 2021
MATERIALS TRADES & SERVICES: surveying, erosion-control, diversion berm with liner, Clearing and grubbing, Bypass pumping, Precast-manhole with epoxy liners, Polymer-manholes, W24x104 steel beams, Steel-pipe-supports, Pipe-welding, weld-testing, Stone-aggregates, Riprap, Sand, Dump-truck-hauling, Restoration and Grass seeding,
NOTES:
- Sales tax on permanent materials should be excluded from the bid and submitted separately for reimbursement. Sales tax for non-permanent materials (such as temporary construction materials, rental equipment, etc) shall be included in the base bid as these are not reimbursable.
- There is no prevailing wage and/or no Davis-Bacon wage requirements
Lengths are as follows:
o Existing 48" welded steel pipe to be removed (aerial): 5,530'
o Existing 48" RCP to be removed (buried): 756'
o Proposed 48" welded steel pipe: 6,285'
o Existing 30" DIP removal: 3,586'
