General work description: Temporary creek diversion, remove drainage structure, construct arch culvert with concrete headwalls & wingwalls, construct stream grade control structures, restore roadway, install sediment & erosion control items, construct welded wire wall, repair existing water main, install heat fused HDPE pipe drainage system.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Drainage Systems Supplier; Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Remove Bridge Item; Clearing & Grubbing; Highway Planting; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Penetration Treatment & Prime Coat (Tack Coat); AC Dike And Misc. Paving; Minor Concrete Structure; Reinforcing Steel; Waterproofing; Structural Steel Plate Pipe, Arch & Pipe Arch; Plastic Pipe; Metal Beam Guard Railing; Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking; Consultant, Environmental; Enviro - Biological Studies; Environmental-Water Quality; Super 10 Dump Truck; Hazardous Substance Removal; Hazardous Waste Trucking; Trucker Broker; Trucker; Construction Staking (Survey).

The DBE Contract goal is 10 percent. Federal-aid project no.: FEMA 4308-DR-CA PW-1433, PW-1309 and 4434-DR-CA PW-0212. The estimated cost of the project is $1,126,000. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
