CAL PRIME, INC. is seeking for quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following: Material Pipe, Concrete and Asphalt Suppliers, Asphalt/Paving Subcontractors for the Installation of approximately 4,914 LF of new 20-inch PVC and 75 LF of new 18-inch PVC pipeline using District furnished C900 PVC. This includes the installation of all pipes, furnishing and including all road crossings, valves, fittings, specials, appurtenances, thrust blocks, joint restraint, pipe vents, and air valves. All materials aside from C900 PVC is to be furnished by the Contractor. Connection to three (3) existing District owned farm turnouts, one (1) connection of new 18-inch PVC to existing 18-inch RCP pipe, one (1) connection of new 20-inch PVC to existing 21-inch RCP, and one (1) connection of new 18-inch PVC to existing 15-inch ACP Removal of existing pipe vent. Removal and abandonment of existing irrigation pipe, including but not limited to reinforced concrete pipe, steel, and asbestos cement pipe. Construction of two (2) 20-inch, and one (1) 18-inch road crossings via open cut trench.

Cal Prime, Inc. is a NON-UNION General Engineering Contractor. Bonding assistance is available if DBE subcontractor notifies Cal Prime, Inc. prior to bid time. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote if premium is not acknowledged in quote subcontractor assumes all financial responsibility for their bond. You must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Please provide your DIR # with your quote. ALL Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting project requirements and will be required to sign the standard Cal Prime, Inc.
