Work contemplated to be performed under this contract is as follows:

Remove Structures and Obstructions
Construct Soldier Pile Wall
Contractor design, permit, and construct stormwater detention vault
Foundations for prefabricated bike canopies
Installation of prefabricated bike canopies
Construct hot mix asphalt pavements
Construct Cement Concrete Curb and Gutter
Construct Cement Concrete Sidewalk
Construct Cement Concrete Driveway Approach and Asphalt Driveways
Storm Drainage Improvements
Property Restoration and Miscellaneous Work
Subcontractor and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work:

SUBCONTRACTOR: quality control testing; flagging/traffic control; surveying; demolition; rebar; cast-in-place concrete; saw cutting; coating/painting; signage; electrical; electrical signs; clearing & grubbing; fill & backfill; excavation; erosion control; asphalt paving; curbs, gutters and sidewalks; pavement marking; fencing; irrigation; landscaping; underground utilities; trucking (dump trucks); and shoring.

SUPPLIER: concrete and aggregate

Engineer's Estimate: $5,000,000.00

Participation Goals:
DBE - 10%
SBE - 20%

James W. Fowler Co. will assist DBE/SBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to DBE/SBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
