Kerex Engineering, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified DBE & Non-DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited to; SWPPP, Traffic Control, Trucking, Demolition, Concrete, Traffic Markings, Landscape, Electrical, Guardrail and HMA. At the Alhambra Valley Road at Ferndale site, work includes construction of a soldier pile retaining wall, drainage improvements, guardrail and vegetation control, and reconstruction of the roadway. At the Alhambra Valley Road West of Castro Ranch Road site, work includes remedial grading and reconstruction of the embankment, construction of guardrail and vegetation control, and reconstruction of the roadway. At Bear Creek Road, there are two sites, 3A and 3B. At site 3A, work includes construction of a soldier pile retaining wall, drainage improvements, guardrail and vegetation control, and reconstruction of the roadway. At site 3B, work includes remedial grading and reconstruction of the embankment, construction of guardrail and vegetation control, and reconstruction of the roadway. Such miscellaneous work, including removal of concrete forms, disposal off-site of all unsuitable materials, and cleanup of the site.

Kerex Engineering, Inc. can assist in payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owner's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Kerex Engineering, Inc. subcontract agreement. Plans and Specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 4941 Pacheco Blvd. Martinez, CA. 94553 between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
