Project Details
The Project consists of expanding and remodeling the Merrill Creek Operations Base (MCOB) Maintenance and Operations Building. Fuel Island Building, and Bus Wash Building located at 7000 and 7100 Hardeson Road, Everett, WA. Work includes, but is not limited to, upgrading and/or replacing concrete and asphalt paved areas, replacing trench drains with new storm water conveyance and detention systems, constructing a new storm water flow control facility, landscaping, relocating infrastructure at the Fuel Island Building, raising and reconstructing the roof on the Bus Wash Building, expanding the Maintenance and Operations building by approximately 19,207 square feet, including six (6) new additional maintenance bays, and relocating the body shop and paint booth. Existing vehicle lifts will be replaced with fourteen (14) Owner Furnished Owner Installed (OFOI) in-ground vehicle hoists.

Subcontractor and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work:

SUBCONTRACTORS: traffic control; demolition; asbestos removal; cast-in-place concrete; masonry; structural steel framing; metal fabrication; rough carpentry; waterproofing; thermal insulation; roofing; metal doors & frames; overhead coiling door; gypsum board; coating/painting; signage; fire suppression; plumbing; HVAC; electrical; clearing & grubbing; dewatering; asphalt paving; curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; pavement marking; fencing; landscaping; underground utilities; flashing and sheet metal; access doors and panels; glazing; non-structural metal framing; acoustical panel ceilings; resilient flooring; and manufactured wood casework.

Engineer's Estimate: $19,000,000.00

Where economically feasible, we are willing to divide total contract requirements into smaller portions or quantities to permit maximum participation by SBE firms. James W. Fowler Co. will assist SBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to SBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
