Work includes, but is not limited to, localized demolition, structural modifications (concrete and structural steel) of existing buildings, excavation around existing facilities, application of CFRP, seismic anchoring and bracing of mechanical and electrical equipment, installation of new roofing system, installation of new HVAC fans, dampers, and louvers, and installation of new buried pipe connections, cathodic protection, application of spray on polyurea liner, and roof coating at the reservoir. The completed Work will provide Owner with structural seismic upgrades of the following facilities.

1. Hood Street Pump Station.
2. Hood Street Chlorination Building.
3. Hood Street Reservoir.
4. South Tacoma Pump Station.

Subcontractor and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: traffic control subcontractor; demolition subcontractor; concrete supplier; rebar subcontractor; cast-in-place subcontractor; saw cutting subcontractor; metal fabrication subcontractor; waterproofing subcontractor; roofing subcontractor; metal doors & frames subcontractor; coating/painting subcontractor; plumbing subcontractor; HVAC subcontractor; electrical subcontractor; cathodic protection subcontractor; clearing and grubbing subcontractor; fill and backfill subcontractor; excavation subcontractor; dewatering subcontractor; erosion control subcontractor; asphalt paving subcontractor; aggregate supplier; curbs, gutters and sidewalks subcontractor; pavement marking/striping subcontractor; underground utilities subcontractor; mechanical (process integration) subcontractor; trucking (dump trucks) subcontractor; and shoring subcontractor.

Engineer's Estimate: $3,300,000.00

Participation Goals:
MBE: 4%
WBE: 1%
SBE: 5%

We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to MBE/WBE/SBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
