South Tahoe Public Utility District - Aeration Blower System Emergency Power and Secondary Clarifier Nos. 1 and 2 Rehabilitation Project, South Lake Tahoe, CA. The Project consists of a new standby generator and rehabilitation of Secondary Clarifiers Nos. 1 and 2 at the STPUD Wastewater Treatment Plant including mechanical, structural, electrical, and instrumentation improvements. This includes installation of a new standby generator; installation of a new automatic transfer switch in the Emergency Pumping Station; demolition of the existing sludge collector mechanisms and replacement with new sludge collector mechanisms and appurtenances; seismic retrofits and rehabilitation of the existing concrete tanks; replacement of existing secondary clarifier handrail and V-notch weirs; installation of new density current baffles; demolition and replacement of existing RAS piping; new clarifier drive in existing MCC; integration of new sludge collector mechanism controls to the PLC; and site civil improvements including excavation, grading, and paving as required to accommodate new improvements. Vinciguerra Construction, Inc. is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: Project Consultants, Demolition, Sawcutting Vertical/Flat-Coring, Concrete Rehabilitation, Miscellaneous Metals, Weirs, baffles, Grout Supply/Placement, RAS Piping Supply/Install, Electrical, Instrumentation, Backup Battery Systems, Earthwork/Grading, Reinforcing Steel Furnish/Placement, Erosion Control Furnish/Placement, Dewatering, Sheeting, Shoring and Bracing, Concrete Specialties, Epoxy Grout Furnish and Placement, Crack Repairs, Bonded fiberglass reinforced plastic, Cellular Concrete Fill, Asphalt Concrete Furnish/Placement, Aggregate Furnish/Placement, Minor Concrete Furnish/Placement, Waterworks Supply, Specialty Plant Piping, Painting and Coating's. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually.
