California Engineering Contractors (CEC) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
Concrete Barrier Rail - Items 85-87,92; Deck Rehab/Polyester Overlay - Items 47-50; Demolition - Items 51-55, 90; Earthwork, Grading, and Paving - Items 32-36, 57, Electrical - Items 101-102; Fencing - Items 27,78; Joint Seals - Item 39-41; Landscaping & Erosion Control - Items 29-32; MBGR - Items 26, 76-77, 79-84, 88; Minor Concrete - Item56; Rebar - 42; Structural Concrete Bridge - Items 37-38; Carbon Fiber Reinforcing - Item 46; SWPPP Administrative - Item 18; SWPPP BMPs - Items 17, 19-24; Traffic Control - Item 6; Traffic Control Devices - Items 9, 10, 12-16, 89, 91; Traffic Signage - Items 5, 45, 64-75; Traffic Striping and Markings - Items 1, 7-8, 11, 25, 60-63, 93-100

CEC requires 100% Payment & Performance Bonds from a single, treasury-listed surety subject to our approval. CEC will pay bond premiums up to 1.5%. Please include a bond premium with your quote. All Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance, and worker's compensation coverage meeting the contract requirements, and must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Please include both your State Contractor License No. and DIR No. on your quote. Subcontracts awarded on this project will use CEC's standard subcontract form without modifications
Plans and specifications are available for viewing in our Pleasanton office between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment. They may also be obtained from the Caltrans website or our Dropbox File sharing server. Please contact us for instructions on downloading from Dropbox.
