D-Line is soliciting quotations from certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprises ("DBE's")
for the following types of work and supplies/materials including but not limited to:
General Work Description: The work to be done generally consists of excavating tidal channels, grading
soil to create a variety of habitat zones, transporting soil, constructing levees and access roads, and
planting and maintaining native vegetation. Trades/Services Requested: earthwork and grading
equipment, trucking services, SWPPP plan, SWPPP and erosion control materials, survey, landscape
and native restoration services, dewatering equipment, road construction materials, fencing, culvert and
drainage materials.

Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, may be viewed but not obtained at the Public Works Department, 255 Glacier Drive, Martinez, California 94553-4897, Monday - Thursday (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.), and Friday (7:00 a.m. - noon and 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.). Plans and specifications can be obtained via the Contra Costa County Public Works Department's Online Planroom at www.cccounty.us/pwprojects. You may obtain electronic PDF copies of the plans and specifications upon purchase of the bid package through the Online Planroom for no additional service charge. Additionally, plans and specifications may be reviewed at our offices located at 499 Embarcadero Office 8, Oakland, CA 94606 by appointment. D-Line is willing to break out portions of the work to increase the expectation of meeting the DBE participation goals. D-Line is also willing to accept bids from a consortium of DBE’s if this contract is too large for your firm. At our discretion, 100% Payment and Performance Bonds may be required as a subcontract condition. D-Line is willing to pay up to 1.5% of the bond premium.
