We are seeking quotes for JACK & BORE STEEL CASING, PAVING - ASPHALT MILLING AND CAPPING, ASPHALT PAVING SAWCUTTING, PAVEMENT MARKINGS AND STRIPING, TRAFFIL LOOPS REPAIR, PRE-CONSTRUCTION VIDEO & RECORDING, SURVEYING, GOLF COURSE LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION, PRECAST CONCRETE VAULTS WITH HATCHES, TRAFFIC CONTROL PLANS, TRUCKING (DIRT HAULING), WATERWORKS PIPING SUPPLY, AGGREGATE MATERIALS SUPPLY (SAND, ROCK, BASE, ASPHALT), CONCRETE MATERIALS SUPPLY.

The project consists of furnishing and installing C900 PVC and ductile iron pipe with V-Bio polyethylene encasement, including valves, fittings, restrained joints, surface restoration, and all necessary appurtenances complete and in place; furnishing and installing one above ground meter, including installing District furnished flow meter (see Special Conditions, Part 1.6), furnishing and installing valves, fittings, Cla-Val Electronic Control Valve, appurtenances, and equipment; furnishing and installing three belowground meters, including installing District furnished flow meters (see Special Conditions, Part 1.6), furnishing and installing concrete vaults, valves, fittings, Cla-Val Electronic Control Valves, appurtenances, and equipment; furnishing and installing four control valve vaults, including furnishing and installing all fittings, valves, appurtenances, and equipment; constructing four lake discharge assemblies, including all fittings, appurtenances, and concrete pads; and performing startup and testing of all equipment and components

Work shall also include protecting in place or removing and replacing all existing utilities and private and public improvements, including, but not limited to, berms, curbs, gutters, concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, walkways, sidewalks, golf cart pathways, cross gutters, spandrels, driveways, slopes, landscaping, landscaping irrigation facilities, traffic striping, signs, fences, and walls. Work within public right-of-way shall be performed in accordance with the City of Palm Desert, City of Indian Wells, and County of Riverside where located within the respective jurisdiction

This project has a California State Revolving Fund (CASRF) Programs (Clean Water and Drinking Water SRF) DBE Requirement. MBC is looking for DBEs including MBE, WBE, SBE, SBRA, LSAF or HUB certified through the USEPA, SBA, CALTRANS, Tribal, State, Local Governments, and Independent private organizations. Self-Certification is no longer acceptable

All Subcontractors must be licensed in the State of California at the time of bid and have a valid DIR Registration Number. Colich & Sons, LP is a Union Signatory Contractor to Operating Engineers and Southern California Laborers and thus any subcontractor must be signatory or willing to sign a project labor agreement. Subcontractors and suppliers are advised to submit their quotes by Wednesday, January 20, 2021 Close of business, for evaluation and completion of all necessary forms to submit with our bid.

Please provide your scope and Signed DBE Forms 4500-2 and 4500-3 by Wednesday, January 20, 2021 Close of Business.

This project is subject to the American Iron and Steel Requirement

All subcontractor bids must comply with the project requirements. By submitting a bid, subcontractor certifies that it takes no exceptions to the project requirements unless any exceptions, alternates or "equals" are clearly defined in the scope with reference applicable portions of the plans/specifications.

Plans, Specifications and the proposal package are available at no cost Monday through Friday at our office located at 547 W. 140th Street, Gardena, CA 90248 and can also be emailed. Assistance in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, materials or related services are available to all firms.
