Project Details
The Career Education Complex is the flagship project of San José City College's Measure X Bond Program. The project is divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 is a modernization of Building 200 which is a 35,000 SF rectangular shaped building comprised of industrial labs and classrooms. Phase 2 is the demolition of one existing CT 101 restroom building, new underground wet & dry utilities, construction of new 4-story Career Education Building around 91,000 SF. This project will unify the two structures into the Career Education Complex.
Design-Build subcontractors for the scopes: Glazing/Exterior Cladding; Electrical, Elevator; and Fire Sprinkler.
Design-Assist subcontractors for the scopes: Structural Steel; Site Utilities; Demo/Abatement; Structural Concrete.
LEED Platinum and Zero Net Energy is the requirement.
