Halmar International LLC on behalf of Potomac Yard Constructors (PYC) a Joint Venture, comprised of Halmar International and Schiavone Construction Corp., is requesting bids from Vendors and Subcontractors for the Design/Build Construction of the New Potomac Yard Metrorail Station in Alexandria, VA. This project has an DBE goal assigned to it and the PYC is soliciting cost proposal from DBE firms certified under the District of Columbia Unified Certification Program (DCUCP) for WMATA Contract FQ16146.

The Project will consist of the Design, Construction, Testing and Commissioning of a new Metrorail Station. The station will include a new entry pavilion for the platforms with an architecturally sloped roofing system and glass curtainwall system. The station also includes one new pedestrian bridge with stainless steel mesh guardrails with access from a new Park area.
