The Work to be done under this Contract consists of the following:

1. Install and remove temporary traffic control measures.
2. Install and remove erosion and sediment control measures.
3. Perform construction survey work.
4. Perform removal of surfacing.
5. Install drainage facilities.
6. Furnish and place aggregate base.
7. Furnish and place hot mix asphalt concrete.
8. Furnish and place concrete sidewalks and curb ramps.
9. Furnish and install permanent striping and signs.
10. Furnish and install illumination.
11. Furnish and install traffic signals.
12. Perform additional and Incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans.

Subcontracting and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: quality control testing; flagging/traffic control; surveying; demolition; site clean up; contaminated soil remediation; hazardous waste removal; concrete; cast-in-place concrete; saw cutting; signage; electrical; electrical signs; clearing & grubbing; fill & backfill; excavation; erosion control; asphalt paving; aggregate supply; curbs, gutters, and sidewalks; pavement markings/striping; fencing; site furnishings; irrigation; landscaping; underground utilities; CCTV (for sewers); trucking (dump trucks); lead compliance; cold plane permanent removal; and drilled shaft production.

Engineer's Estimate: $10,000,000

Participation Goals: DBE - 13%

James W. Fowler Co. will assist DBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to DBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
