D.A. Collins Construction Co., Inc. welcomes quotes from all qualified subcontractors, services, material suppliers, and trucking firms for complete or portions of the work for all phases.

The project includes, but is not limited to, providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction to construct a precast concrete weir structure with internal screening system that will be constructed in‐line along the existing 42 RCP storm sewer pipe that runs beneath the sidewalk along South Pearl Street and connects into the existing 60" RCP Gansevoort combined sewer overflow line. Additional work includes associated piping, replacement of catch basins along Third Ave., and restoration.

Each bidder shall take note of the following:

-Any subcontracts, agreement for services or purchase orders will be subject to the Owner's mandatory contract flow down requirements.

-Insurance Requirements: Please be sure to review the insurance requirements. Subcontractors will be required to fulfill these requirements.

-Equal Employment Opportunity: The Subcontractor shall undertake or continue existing programs of affirmative action to ensure that minority group members and women are afforded equal employment opportunities. It is the responsibility of all subcontractors to undertake good faith efforts to assist D.A. Collins Construction Co., Inc. in achieving the workforce participation goals established for this project. Goals: 17.8% total workforce hours worked by minorities and women.

-In submitting a quote, the vendor assures that there is no conflict of interest or detrimental effect in accordance with Article 6 of the Proposal.

-In order to comply with New York State contracts Article 19, all subcontractors/vendors will be required to provide names of any former New York State employees in their employment.
