BRCO Constructors Inc. is requesting bids from Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) subcontractors for the Oak Hill Elementary School Modular Kindergarten Building (Lease-Leaseback) Project.

The work to be performed under this contract consists of site improvements, ADA upgrades, and other upgrades to the existing infrastructure. Improvements include fire alarm, security system, and digital intercom clock bell, fiber backbone replacement, ADA upgrades to the path of travel, restroom and classroom fixtures, site improvements to the bus loop and parking lot, the addition of fencing and exterior door hardware upgrades for security, seal & stripe of hardcourt playground, reseeding turf, replacement of fascia, gutters and downspouts, replacement of roofing, gas, and water valves.

This project requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce under Education Code section 17407.5 and Public Contract Code section 2601. Education Code Section 17407.5 requires the use of a skilled and trained workforce, as defined by Public Contract Code section 2601, by subcontractors at every tier, to perform work which falls within an apprenticeable occupation in the building and construction trades. Verification of compliance must be submitted on a monthly basis.
