This contract provides for a complete and operating replacement pump station including approximately 100 linear feet of a 6-inch sanitary sewer force main and 100 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main at the site of the existing 63rd Street Pump Station and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.

Contractor shall furnish and install a complete and operating replacement pump station including approximately 100 linear feet of a 6-inch sanitary sewer force main and 100 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer main at the site of the existing 63rd Street Pump Station. Work to be performed includes construction of a new a duplex submersible pump station with epoxy-lined wet well and pre-sedimentation manhole, electrical building including SCADA, force main and gravity sewer main extensions and all appurtenances as shown on the plans and specified
herein. Work also includes abandoning in place approximately 60 linear feet of existing 8-inch gravity sewer.

Subcontractor and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: quality control testing subcontractor; traffic control subcontractor; concrete supplier; rebar subcontractor; cast-in-place concrete subcontractor; wood, plastic & composite subcontractor; rough carpentry subcontractor; thermal insulation subcontractor; roofing subcontractor; metal doors & frames subcontractor; gypsum board subcontractor; coating/painting subcontractor; plumbing subcontractor; HVAC subcontractor; excavation subcontractor; dewatering subcontractor; erosion control subcontractor; asphalt paving subcontractor; curbs, gutters and sidewalks subcontractor; fencing subcontractor; and trucking (dump trucks) subcontractor.

Engineer's Estimate: $1,250,000

James W. Fowler Co. will assist M/W/DBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to M/W/DBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
