Yonkers Contracting Company is soliciting cost proposals from qualified and certified NJ Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Small Businesses (MWBE) for: PVSC Contract No B053-Substation M Reconstruction and Headworks Reconstruction in the town of Newark, NJ, BID DATE: AUGUST 18, 2020, 10:00 AM. Work to be performed under this Contract consists of but is not limited to Utilities, Photos, Trucking, Manholes & Catchbasins, Abatement, Demo, Clearing, Dewatering, Underpinning, Erosion Control, Piles, Pavement Work & Markings, Curbs, Sidewalks, Planting, Concrete, Reinforced Steel Supply & Install, Structural Steel, Metal Fab, Grating, Carpentry, Siding, Firestopping, Sealant, Doors, Windows, Glazing, Drywall, Tile, Painting, Toilets, Sun Control, Bridge Crane, Hangers & Supports, Pipes & Valves, Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical.

This project is funded in part by New Jersey environmental infrastructure financing programs and the successful bidder must comply with the provisions of N.J.A.C. 7.22-9 for the participation of small business enterprises owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Firms must be certified by NJ Commerce, Economic Growth and Tourism Commission, NJDOT, PANYNJ, NJ Transit or other agencies deemed appropriate as eligible minority or female businesses.
