PROJECT LOCATION: 1638 Stuart Street Apartments, Berkeley, CA 94703

Argo Construction, Inc. as a "GENERAL CONTRACTOR" is requesting quotations on "ALL TRADES" from all qualified subcontractors & suppliers, including Local, Minority, Disadvantaged and Women Contractors.

Scope of Work: Renovation of an existing 6 unit, 2- story wood frame apartment building in front with a separate detached one- story duplex at rear. Demolition and removal of interior lead, asbestos and finishes, down to framing studs; has been completed by the Owner. Renovate all kitchens and bathrooms - work consists of new casework, counters, sink, water efficient fixtures, appliances, interior finishes and lighting. Renovate one ground floor apartment to and Accessible apartment unit with accessible kitchen and bathroom. Renovation includes all new systems: Plumbing, Electrical, and Heating/Ventilation New Roof, interior finishes, new doors, and windows, repairs and insulation of building envelop. Seismic upgrades based. Work will be bound by all relevant regulations to satisfy City of Berkeley funding requirements and Covid Small Construction Project Safety Protocol


Notice To Proceed: Owners anticipates issuing a Notice to Proceed on August 3, 2020 and expects the project to be substantially complete by April 2, 2021 (9 Months)
