Granite Construction Northeast, Inc. (Granite or GCN) is planning to submit a Proposal for the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) Contract D264076 for the Van Wyck Expressway Viaduct Rehabilitation project.

The Project is for the rehabilitation of the Van Wyck Expressway Viaduct which includes the segment of the Van Wyck Expressway from the Mt. Hebron Cemetery to 37th Avenue. Major work includes, but is not limited to: deck replacement; steel repairs; bearing replacement; painting structural steel; substructure repairs/replacements; lighting; shielding; concrete & asphalt paving; pavement markings; signage; electrical/ITS, & other miscellaneous construction.

Bid Date: July 22, 2020

Quotes Due: Wednesday, July 8, 2020

DBE Goal: 14% (NYS Certification)

Anticipated Notice to Proceed (NTP): August 22, 2020
Substantial Completion: December 1, 2023
Project Completion: February 1, 2024 (60 days after Substantial Completion)
