California Engineering Contractors (CEC) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:

Clearing & Grubbing - Item 36; Concrete Barrier Rail - Item 103; Deck Rehabilitation - Items 50-51, 66 - 71; Bridge Removal - Items 72, 104; Earthwork, Grading, and Paving - Items 37, 43-49; Electrical - Items 115-116; Erosion Control - Items 21-22, 39-42; Fencing - Item 98; Joint Seals - Items 56-59; MBGR - Items 35, 95-97, 99-102, 105-107; Minor Concrete - Item 54; Bridge Deck Drainage System - Item 82; Painting - Items 63-64; Rebar - Item 60; SWPPP BMPs - Items 23-31; Structural Steel - Items 61-62, 73; Structure Concrete - Items 52-53, 55; Traffic Control - Items 6-7, 9-10, 12, 15; Traffic Signage - Items 5, 84, 86-94; Traffic Striping and Markings - Items 8,11, 83, 108-113; Utilities (Drainage) - Items 74-81, 85, 114

CEC requires 100% Payment & Performance Bonds from a single, treasury-listed surety subject to our approval. CEC will pay bond premiums up to 1.5%. Please include a bond premium with your quote. All Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting the contract requirements, and must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Please include both your State Contactor License No. and DIR No. on your quote. Subcontracts awarded on this project will use CEC's standard subcontract form without modifications
Plans and specifications are available for viewing in our Pleasanton office between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment. They may also be obtained from the Caltrans website or our Dropbox File sharing server. Please contact us for instructions on downloading from Dropbox.
