Involves the sewer construction and rehabilitation of sanitary sewers along the following streets:
SW Ankeny St between 1st and Naito
SW Oak St west of Naito
SW 6th between Harvey Milk St and Oak St
SW Harvey Milk St between Broadway and 6th
SW Harvey Milk St between 9th and Broadway
SW Alder St between 3rd and 2nd
SW Alder St between 4th and 3rd
SW Alder St between Broadway and 6th
SW Taylor St between Broadway and 6th
SW Taylor St between Park Ave and Broadway
SW Salmon St between 2nd and 1st
SW Salmon St between 11th and 10th
SW Madison St between Park and Broadway
SW Jefferson St between 3rd and 2nd

Improvements shall consist of those items of work listed in the Proposal and as shown on the accompanying Plans. The Contractor shall perform all labor, and furnish all materials, equipment and incidentals required to make each item complete. Work shall include, but not be limited to:
Construct, maintain, and remove temporary work zone traffic control measures.
Construct, maintain, and remove erosion control measures.
Construct drainage system including, sewer mains and laterals.
Rehabilitate sewer pipes using Cure-In-Place (CIPP) construction methods.

Subcontracting and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: traffic control/flagging subcontractors; saw cutting subcontractors; asphalt paving subcontractors; curbs, gutters and sidewalk subcontractors; landscaping subcontractors; CCTV (for sewers) subcontractors; CIPP subcontractors; trucking (dump trucks) subcontractors.

D/M/W/ESB Aspirational Goal: 20% (up to 5% for suppliers)

D/M/WBE Utilization Goal: 14%

James W. Fowler Co. will assist D/M/W/ESB subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to D/M/W/ESB subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
