Project Scope: The partial closure consists of approximately 13.4 acres that will include site preparation, placement of the liner system, placement of the soil cover systems, installation of a gas collection and control system, construction of the stormwater management structures, erosion control structures, grading, seeding and sodding, and all incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified. See section 01000 and the plans for more complete details about the work. Fill soil for the preparation of the intermediate cover, protective cover and topsoil for the landfill shall be supplied from an off-site borrow source.

Trades & Materials: survey, erosion-control, liner-system, Aggregates, soils, Trucking, fabric, grout-filled-Fabric-Revetments, asphalt paving, Stormdrain, HDPE-SDR-11 Pipe Grassing seeding, sodding, Bollards, Landfill Gas System: New vertical extraction wells, wellhead, LFG-pumps, sumps LFG-piping forcemain and related work.

BUSINESS UTILIZATION MBE/WBE/DBE firms are encouraged to participate & will be listed at time of bid, Work & materials may be combined or divided to facilitate maximum participation. Subcontractors are obliged to sublet to 2nd & 3rd tier DBE subcontractors. DBE firms needing assistance with obtaining bonding, loan capital, lines of credit, insurance, quickpay & payment-agreements, obtaining equipment & supplies materials or negotiate joint venture & partnership arrangements can contact Thalle for assistance. Thalle will negotiate fairly with interested DBE firms & will not reject firms as unqualified without sound reasons based capabilities.
