Is seeking qualified DBEs, MBEs, WBEs

South Tahoe Public Utility District - Water Meter Installation Project, Phase 5B, South Lake Tahoe, CA. The work to be performed consists of the installation of approximately 270 small meters (3/4-inch
and/or 1-inch in size), six 2-inch meters, and three 6-inch meters. Small 3/4-inch and 1-inch water
meters, meter antenna units (MXUs), meter pit lids and frames, as required, will be provided by
STPUD and installed by Contractor; larger meters and accessories will be provided and installed by
the Contractor. Work includes connections to existing water services, valve installations, paving restoration, and site restoration, including landscaping and other related work. Vinciguerra Construction is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: Aggregate Base Furnish, Aggregate Base Placement, Asphalt Concrete Furnish, Asphalt Concrete Placement, Ready Mix Concrete Furnish, Minor Concrete Placement, Water Works Piping, Meter and Valve Boxes, Pipe Bedding Furnish, Pipe Bedding Placement, Water Works Service Valves Large and Small Diameter, Pre Cast Concrete Vaults, Revegetation Materials Furnish and Place, Water Works Meter Pits, and Setters, Sawcutting, Traffic Control and Signage, Trucking, Vacuum Potholing, Sheeting Shoring and Bracing, Sweeper Services, Job Site Controls (Portable Restroom), Earthwork (Excavation, Backfill, Etc.), Construction BMP's, Groundwater Dewatering, Paver Driveway Installation.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation is encouraged. A copy of the Contract Documents are on file and may be examined at the South Tahoe Public Utility District Offices, 1275 Meadow Crest Drive, South Lake Tahoe, California. In order to download the Contract Documents and receive addendums and notifications when issued, Bidders must register as a vendor at the District's Vendor Portal: http://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=21516. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually. Subcontractor's must possess a current Contractor's License and DIR registration number. Insurance and Worker's Compensation coverage meeting Vinciguerra Construction's Subcontract.
