Project Details
This Contract shall generally consist of asphalt and concrete paving, curb ramps, illumination, utilities (water, power, storm, wastewater), signs, sidewalk improvements, pavement markings, pedestrian and bicycle detection, a median refuge island, and signal improvements, including a new HAWK signal.
Subcontractor Goal: SBE - 9%
Subcontracting and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: trucking subcontractor; rock supplier; AC paving subcontractor; concrete paving subcontractor; concrete flat work subcontractor; landscaping subcontractor; striping subcontractor; surveying subcontractor; flagging subcontractor; certified arborist subcontractor; electrical subcontractor; archaeological monitoring subcontractor.

James W. Fowler Co. will assist SBE subcontractors in obtaining necessary equipment, supplies, or materials. We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to SBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
