The purpose of this project is to replace the existing 5-spans LIRR Atlantic 6 structure with a proposed 2-spans structure which will allow for future widening of the Van Wyck Expressway.

Scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to demolition, site work, clearing and grubbing, asbestos abatement, utilities, lighting, drainage, paving, milling, fencing, guiderails, deck, sidewalk, striping, rebar, signage, MPT, boring, shoring, piles, concrete supply, structural steel, painting, bearings, electrical work, retaining walls, landscaping, pest control and other trades typically associated with this type of work.

This project is a State Funded Project and has M/WBE Goals assigned to it. Halmar encourages and promotes the maximum M/W/DBE and SDVOB Participation possible on this and all of its projects.
