Is seeking qualified DBEs, MBEs, WBEs, SBEs

Kerex Engineering, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified DBE & Non-DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited to: The work to be done generally consists of providing and installing full trash capture units for 134 inlets on various sites in the El Sobrante, Concord, Crockett, and Bay Point Areas in Contra Costa County. There is a total of 97 Connector Pipe Screens and 84 Automatic Retractable Screens to be installed on these sites. Project includes clearing debris from inlets, and preparing a photo inventory of each installation, and all other related trades and Items of Work Including Partial Items that are required by the project plans & specifications.

Kerex Engineering, Inc. can assist in payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. If you have any questions, need assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance in services, please contact Patrick Madden at our office. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owner's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Kerex Engineering, Inc. subcontract agreement. Plans and Specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 3478 Buskirk Ave. Suite 1000, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523 between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
