Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified M/W/DBE and LSB subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for construction Antioch Station Expansion Parking Project and Miscellaneous Site Improvements in Antioch and Hercules, CA. Quotes requested include, but are not limited to, the following scopes of work: FABRIC & OILS, CAS, TRAFFIC CONTROL, COLD PLANE, CLEAR & GRUB, LANDSCAPE/HIGHWAY PLANTING, EROSION CONTROL, IRRIGATION, LIME TREAT, ASPHALT PAVING, MINOR CONCRETE STRUCTURE, ROADSIDE SIGNS, CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC., FENCING, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPING & PAVEMENT MARKINGS, SIGNAL & LIGHTING, SWPPP PLANNING, STORM DRAIN (UNDERGROUND), MATERIAL SUPPLIER & TRUCKING. Engineer's Estimate: $10,900,000 / MBE Goal: 18.2% / WBE Goal: 9.3% / LSB Goal: 19% / 340 WD / various liquidated damages based on milestones. Submit quotes by Noon on bid date. GCC is available to discuss breaking out any portion of work to encourage minority participation.

GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)

Prospective bidders must register on the BART Procurement Portal online at https://suppliers.bart.gov in order to download the contract documents and receive updates on this solicitation. You may also purchase printed copies from BART by completing the Contract Document Order form on the BART Procurement Portal. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

GCC's written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.

Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form 'CG-2010-1185' or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
