Jett Industries, Inc. is actively soliciting quotations for the Bowery Bay WWTP Screw Conveyor System Replacement, Queens, NY. We will be bidding the project that has a combined goal of 20 % for MBE and WBE participation. The project bids on May 21, 2019. Please provide your detailed scope of work by May 13, 2019 and final Quote by 12:00 on May 17, 2019.

The following is a general description of work under this contract only and shall not be construed as a complete description of the work to be performed.

The scope of work under this Contract is to provide the necessary labor, materials and equipment for the reconstruction of the cross collector screw conveyor system and the reconstruction of primary sludge suction piping in the Primary Settling Tank Nos. 10 to 15 (the "Work") at the Bowery Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant (the "Site"). Each Primary Settling Tank has one cross collector that collects the solids in a cross collector sump with the use of a screw conveyor system. The Work includes the reconstruction of the existing screw conveyor system for Primary Settling Tank Nos. 10 to 15, including new spiral screws (flight screws), new wall bearings, new sole plates, new hanger bearings, new pedestal bearings (pillow black bearings), new coupling shafts, new troughs, new driven sprockets, new drive sprockets, new gear reducers, new anchors and hardware, new grease tubing, and all the necessary Screw Conveyor components for a complete installation. The Work also includes the installation of new torque limiters, with drive sprockets and drive chain to connect the new drive sprockets to the new submerged driven sprockets. The work also includes the replacement of the existing gear reducers located in the primary sludge gallery and the installation of new gear reducers located at the top of the concrete deck of the Primary Settling Tanks.
