Granite Construction Northeast, Inc. (Granite), in association with designer, COWI North America, Inc., has been selected as a design-build team approved to submit a Proposal for the New Harlem River Drive Connector Ramp.

The general scope of work for the Project involves the construction of a new connector ramp from the Harlem River Lift Span (HRLS) to the Harlem River Drive (HRD), and new pedestrian ramp to connect the north sidewalk of the HRLS to the south sidewalk, with major work including, but not necessarily limited to: Installation of new piles, pile caps, columns and pier caps; Ramp superstructure; Roadway lighting for the new ramp; Drainage; Dry Fire Standpipe; Sign Structures; & Pavement and Appurtenances.

Bid Date: June 5, 2019

Quotes Due: Wednesday, May 29, 2019

Goals (NYS Certification):
- MBE - 15%
- WBE - 15%
- SDVOB - 6%

Anticipated Award: September, 2019
Project Completion: Approximately 18 months from award (i.e. March, 2021)

Project Labor Agreement (PLA): TBD
