The project consists of supplying all materials, equipment labor, and appurtenances required to provide a fully functioning fiber optic communication system complete, including modifications to existing conduit to allow for installation of fiber optic cable; removal of existing pull boxes and joining of conduit; installation of #6E and splice vaults; installation of Caltrans Type 3 conduit; installation of splice closures and fiber distribution units; installation of wireless radios and associated cables; installation of a demarcation cabinet; replacing existing traffic signal cabinets with new City-Furnished 333L cabinets;traffic signal rewiring, installation of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera systems on existing traffic signal standards; installation of CCTV camera system on new CCTV pole; installation of Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and structure; modify landscaping/irrigation as needed and restoration of sidewalk and other works damaged by the Contractor's operation, installation, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cable, installation of fiber optic end equipment, and system acceptance testing.

DBE goal of 16% is required.
