Cal Prime, Inc. is bidding this project as a Prime General Contractor. We are actively seeking sub-bids on all trades from qualified & certified DBE subcontractors & suppliers. All sub-bids should be either faxed to (661) 379-8830 or emailed to kellyhudson@calprimeinc.com prior to 3:00 P.M. on February 28, 2019. We will provide required assistance in bonding, insurance. Portions of work for the project include but are not limited to the following items of work. They have been broken down and can be broken down further into economically feasible elements to assist the participation of DBE contractors or vendors: Mobilization, Demobilization, Develop and Provide Water Supply, Environmental Compliance, Prepare, Maintain, Restore Access Routes and Finish Grading, Furnish and Install 15" class 100 PIP PVC Pipeline, Furnish and Install 24" Connection to District pipeline - 24" Collector Manifold, Furnish and Install 15" Butterfly Valve Assembly, Furnish and Install 12" Surge Stand Connection, Furnish and Install 15" PIP pipeline to 12" flange (well discharge) Connection, Furnish and Install 3" Offset Air Vent Assembly, Furnish and Install SWID Turnout 2.2-2 Modification, Furnish and Install SWID Turnout 1-1.9S Pipeline Extension, Furnish and Install Pipeline Markers

Cal Prime, Inc. can assist in payment with bond premium if contacted prior to bid due. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting SWID requirements and will be required to sign Cal Prime, Inc. Subcontract Agreement. Sample of Subcontract can be provided if requested. Plans and specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 10101 Michele Avenue Bakersfield CA 93312, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request via email to kellyhudson@calprimeinc.com.
