Is seeking qualified DVBEs, SBEs

The CTLS Unit 3 project will consist of installing approximately 10,250 feet of 60-inch welded steel pipeline along Whitsett Avenue between Vanowen Street and Magnolia Boulevard, located in the North Hollywood area of the City of Los Angeles. The majority of new pipeline, approximately 6,510 feet of the alignment will be constructed using conventional cut and cover methods. The depth to the springline along the cut and cover segments range between 8 and 12 feet below ground surface (bgs). Approximately 3,740 feet, of pipeline will be installed in jacked casing using horizontal boring methods at three locations. The horizontal boring will be performed in 5 segments, and six receiving/jacking pits and two intermediate jacking pits will be constructed. The depth to the springline along the horizontal boring drives range between 25 to 30 feet bgs. Figure 2 presents an overview of the proposed alignment.

We are also available to provide assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit and/or insurance to DVBE/SBE subcontractors. Please complete all negotiations 24-hours prior to bid opening. We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
