Construction of the proposed Harlem Valley Rail Trail Phase IV, The shared-use trail begins at Main Street (Rte 44) and continues Northerly for approx.y 8.2 miles & stops at the under Mountain Road parking lot, trail crossings will be constructed at intersections w/ Main St. (Route 44), Beilke-State Line Road, Russ Pond Road, White House Crossing Road, Boston Corners Road and Under Mountain Road, Boardwalks will be constructed over wetland areas in segments 2, 3 & 4 to minimize impacts and a retaining wall will be constructed in segment 2 due to property constraints. This project includes five (5) bridge rehabilitations, one bridge replacement w/ a culvert pipe and one (1) culvert extension. This project also includes signing & striping on the proposed shared-use trail & roadway crossings.
