This is a Prevailing Wage Project.
Project consists of the reconfiguration of the Terminal 1 A/B Gates area to all for expansion of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) lanes. The existing eight TSA lanes will be expanded to 10, of which 6 will be new Automated Screening Lanes (ASL) lanes. The scope also includes expansion of queuing area, electrical room relocation, restroom remodel, addition of TSA office space, TSA conference room, TSA remote screening room, new electrical penthouse air handling units that will be refurbished including new downstream VAV boxes. Also included is some installation of new ceilings, new HVAC and new lighting.
