R.E. Staite Engineering, Inc. is requesting subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and vendors, especially DBE's and SBE's, for the following items:
• Electrical
• Hydrographic Survey
• Tug Services
• Plumbing
• Diving
• Painting
The work to be done includes performing maintenance dredging at the Vallejo Terminal that includes the transportation of and installing a temporary ferry loading float and gangway system, driving piles, installation of temporary electrical and lighting system, installation of temporary utility services, disconnecting and removing the existing permanent ferry loading gangway and float, transportation of permanent ferry loading float to a repair facility for repair, upgrades, maintenance, painting, maintenance of permanent loading gangway, dredging and disposal of sediments as foundation material at the Montezuma Wetlands Restoration Site (or approved upland site), reinstallation of permanent gangway and float system, hydrographic surveys, including reconnection of all utilities, and removal of temporary gangway and float system. This is a re-bid of the Vallejo portion of project (18-015) that bid in July; revisions have been made.

It is the Subcontractor's responsibility to check the DropBox site often for any updates/addenda. Please indicate that your quote is per Plans & Specifications and acknowledge all addenda in your final quote.

R.E. Staite will require subcontractors to comply with all insurance policies and limits as indicated in the specifications, including but not limited to:
• U.S. Longshoreman and Harbor Workers (USL&H) coverage
• Jones Act - Protection & Indemnity, SP 38 or SP 23 for $5 million combined single limit per occurrence

Bonding may be required.

RES is signatory to the Operating Engineers and the Divers, Carpenters, Bridge, Wharf and Dock Builders and is an equal opportunity employer.
