"The Merced County Fairgrounds has a water distribution system that is over 50 years old and requires
maintenance and the replacement of various equipment. The current project will consist of furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary for the waterline improvements,
including the replacement and installation of shut-off valves, reduced pressure backflow preventer, and a
fire hydrant, along with associated waterline work located at the Fairgrounds, as outlined in the plans
included in Appendix A. All work to be conducted under the authority of California Fair Service
Authority (CFSA) as set forth in the Construction Documents."
