Avila Construction is bidding this project as a general contractor and seeks DVBE business participation.

Project summary:
Modernizatin of existing kitchen in building M1 and restrooms in buildings S1 and S2. Work includes exterior site
improvements, DA site improvements, structural alterations, roofing replacement over the multi purpose building's kitchen, reconfiguration of the interior partitions, mechanical, electrical, and low voltage improvements. Kitchen is a teaching facility.

Notes:
1) This is a PREVAILING WAGE PROJECT
2) This Contract is Subject to Prequalification. Any subcontractor for work requiring C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38,
C-42, C-43, or C-46 Licenses must have current prequalified status with owner. The application for prequalification can
be found on the district website at www.mpusd.net/constructionbids and must be submitted ten(10) days or sooner prior to
the bid date.
3) Bid Documents: Plans set dated 3/13/18 by Derivi Castellanos Architects; Project Manual (undated). As of the time of this publication, Addendum 1 dated April 2 has been issued.
4) Please contact Kathryn@avilconst.com or chip@avilaconst.com for a current document download link. Subcontractors are responsible for obtaining and reviewing all bid documents and insurance requirements.
5) Alternates required:
a. Omit the half circle concrete paved patio located south between buildings M1 and S2
b. Omit all of the modernization work associated with boys restroom S1-1 and girls restroom S2-1
c. Omit the new concrete walkway and planting areas on the south side of building S2
